Great day!

Today was one of those great days.  Thanks to all of you loyal and loving fans out there in just two days our team promo video has over 2500 hits.  The newly appointed mens national team GM Steve Nash FINALLY retweeted us.  A little disappointed in our fellow countryman and basketball lover Justin Bieber... he has no idea how persistent we can be.

Forty five minutes before practice even started half the team was in the gym getting some shots up.  Never thought these words would be said but it is so nice to be at the dorms and steps away from the gym.  We don't have to wait on vans or coaches.  During practice we broke down a few sections of our offence that we have not been exploring enough. We immediately transferred that knowledge into our scrimmages, which is pretty impressive considering we knew it was coming defensively.  Both teams put together solid scrimmages and we finished off practice with some more shooting.

Our lift today was held in the gym, love not having to run up to the weight room right after practice.  We had bands and straps and balls and Chad made up a great program that can be done anywhere in the world.  We will be in Europe for almost a month before qualifiers so all of these lifts will come in handy.

Dinner tonight was held in Mission at the Smith's household.  It was a magnificent spread, nothing like a home cooked meal during training camp.  While we were there Shelly put us through another emotional intelligence session.  She has so much energy and enthusiasm, the sessions are quite captivating and informative.

Time for bed.  Two practices tomorrow and then a bus ride to Seattle.

Dream Big Canada!
