Bronze medal.

We rebounded back from a devastating loss to play a pretty good game against Cuba. Pretty sure nobody on our team got more than a few hours of sleep that night and we knew the game would be a test of our heart and will more than anything else. We talked before the game about this being our last chance to play together in 2011. The game was fairly tight throughout but we never felt like we were going to lose. Cuba made a little run at the end of the game but we scored some buckets to kill their runs and got stops. It was great to end the tournament on a win and we were pretty excited and proud. Then we had to go back to the gym and accept our medals and those feelings of pride and excitement died pretty quickly. Watching another team celebrate felt like a slap in the face, we thought that was going to be us this year. But we are moving on and looking forward to June 25th!

We want to thank all of you so much for following along on our blog and wishing us luck throughout the tournament. We did all we could and sometimes the ball doesn't roll your way. We are going to work our butts off to all improve individually so next summer we will be even better!

We will respond to some of the comments and keep on posting throughout the next week so keep checking back in. Send in any questions if you have any.
