Round 2

The first rainy day here in Ostrava fell on our day off. We spent most of the day laying around on our hotel beds. We watched some movies, played cards and caught up on our laundry. Laundry is incredibly expensive so we have been hand washing all of our t-shirts and practice gear. It is hard on the hands, all the wringing and washing gets tiring. Thankfully our uniforms and game gear get done by the hotel so we can wait till all our t-shirts and practice gear pile up.

We did get to escape the hotel last night. Wayne Parrish our CEO treated us to a dinner out! We went into the city centre and ate a delicious meal. Nice to be away from the monotony of the food here and switch our menu up a little! Thanks Wayne!

First game of the second round tonight against the USA. A big emphasis tonight is going to be on rebounding. If we want to have more success in this tournament we need to find a way to push people back and get boards. Tonight will be a good test against a great rebounding team.

GO CANADA!
