Hey Everyone!
It's Janelle Bekkering here! Sorry for my tardiness, and not keeping up with my updates!
After getting back from Brazil I headed right back to college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. I came back after missing a whole month of school so the first couple days comprised mostly of catching up on schoolwork and getting back into the swing of things. I do miss the afternoon "snout" naps that I regularly took this summer. For those of you who don't know, or use this terminology, snouting is a word I use to describe the process of being lazy like a pig and relaxing, whether it is either napping, eating, or just hanging out taking it easy.
After being back for a few days, I began working out with my team again. Since practices hadn't officially started yet, we were just lifting and conditioning. The first day back I got to run the ever so fun beep test! A couple weeks later we started offical practices, and ever since then i have been very busy with school and practices. Our team is also doing Yoga twice a week. I can say that may balance and flexibility do seem to be getting better! We have been practicing for about 2 weeks and are less than one week away from our first exhibition game! I can't wait to start playing. We have a really good scheldule this season including playing South Dakota State, USC, Washington, Stanford, Baylor, and Texas A&M in the preseason. We have a very talented team and I am excited to see how this year turns out!
Well I am off to practice for the day, I will try to update more often! If you are interested you can go to www.gozags.com for game updates and all that jazz!!
GO CANADA!!! :)
