Jordan in New Mexico

*Me and Eric posing in a hot air balloon.

Well I returned to New Mexico to only get the flu and be stuck in bed for 4 days. After being gone all summer, people at work were missing me. So this was actually my first official week back to work. I am currently working as the Director of Baskeball Operations for the University of New Mexico Women's Basketball team, my alma mater. Work has been pretty hectic but I am getting back into the swing of things. I am definitely missing my teammates and after seeing Leanne's Halloween video below...even more so!

This past weekend was the International Balloon Festival here in Albuquerque. Hundreds of hot air balloons fill the sky all over albuquerque and people from all over the world come to see. There are tons of different types of balloons, even special shapes...like a giant cow. They have a balloon glow at night where all of the balloons light up at the same time and it is really awesome to see. I was sick all week and so I felt good enough to go on Sunday morning. You have to get up really early to make it for the show, so we were up at 4am and headed down there only to find out it was cancelled because of wind. So I missed the festival but I still got to get some good hot chocolate and I saw the balloons all over the sky from afar.

Well that is about all that is new with me. The team has their opening day of practice on friday night called "The Howl" and we start getting into things again. Can't wait to hear all of the updates from my teammates!
