Rest Day

We practiced today at a local university, it is also the gym where we have had shoot arounds. We walked through Jamaica sets and did a little work on our offense. Not a whole lot of shooting as one basket appears to be crooked and the other one is far back so the lines are off (free throw line= 3 point line). We didn't actually need to shoot today as we have shoot around at the competition gym tomorrow morning before the game.

We had a new bus driver today he was straight from the fast and the furious. We always get to the gym in record time seeing as though there are around 5 cops leading the way. It is pretty sweet although not sure the local community agrees, sirens blaring through your streets 20 times a day could get old pretty fast. The drivers are never unsafe but today there were a few quick brake touches.

The rest of the day will be spent in the treatment room and our beds. A few people may brave the heat and go for a quick walk to pick up some fruits and veggies. The food at this tournament has been outstanding. The chef is pretty amazing, they even grill veggies just for us since we are not allowed the lettuce and other salad stuff.

A win tomorrow and we are guaranteed a shot at London this year or next year!!
