Puerto Rico!

We arrived in San Juan last night around 10:30pm. There was a slight delay on the plane in Miami but thankfully it was a comfortable one. A very kind flight attendant switched our whole team out of middle seats to exit rows and aisles, much appreciated!

The hotel is situated right in the middle of old town San Juan, we can see a few large cruise ships docked right outside of our windows. It appears to be a very happening place as it took a while to drive around the block last night with all the foot and car traffic out bar hopping. Our bright red Canada basketball t-shirts fit right in with the club dresses and booty shorts.

We had a light practice at the gym today, great floor and air conditioned so no complaints from us! The rest of the afternoon we were free to explore the area, check out the shops or drop some money in the casino. The weather is amazing, extending our summer a little longer since Ontario was starting to feel a lot like fall before we left. You just have to be sure you don't get caught in the middle of a down pour which we hear happens most days.

First friendly game against Puerto Rico is tomorrow night at 8pm. Excited to play a game again!
