It has been a day or two since we have posted... sorry! Saturday morning we scrimmaged some boys that Rich Chambers got together for us. Rich is a high school coach at Terry Fox Secondary he also coached our junior women to a bronze medal and berth to next summers junior worlds. He came and helped us the first 4 weeks of camp as well. He was giving his boys scouting reports and trying to tell them which play was coming but we are going to forgive him because he is such a great guy and we still scored!
Saturday afternoon we loaded up the cars and vans and headed to the Langley Events Center to watch BC summer games basketball. We took in a bit of a game, met the athletes and took pictures! Hopefully we will see all those wonderful young ladies at our games tomorrow and Thursday!
Saturday night Basketball BC treated us to dinner at the boathouse in White Rock. The meal was delicious and it always feels good to get out of the basketball clothes for an afternoon. On top of dinner we were also treated to some gelato. Thank you so much to everyone at Basketball BC!!
We went pretty light this morning, we are all ready to play again!
