First off a huge thank you to Fitness Town and James Newman for donating the two lovely spin bikes pictured on your left. If you come watch a practice you will most likely see an athlete or two riding the bike to stay warm or get in a workout for those of us slowed by injuries! The only downside is our bottoms are not cut out for bike workouts. There are a few complaints of sore/bruised bottoms!
The evening practices are a little more geared towards individual skill development. We break down into "bigs" and "littles" and work on shots, dribble moves, post moves etc. We also reviewed our on ball defense, we have four different ways of guarding the pick on ball which we designate before a game based on our scouting reports. A few quick half court games and a nice long stretch.
