Road to London

This morning was off so a few of us went to the gym to do a little extra shooting and get out of the hotel.  The afternoon was spent laying low in our beds getting ready for tonight's practice.  We played a controlled scrimmage against the Wildhawks tonight.  The score was reset every quarter and we had the boys mix their defenses up.  We had some good moments and some not as good!

After the game the drug testing people came.   Today they selected 4 people at random, the lucky winners were Leanne, Kaela, Jordan and Kim.  Drug testing is the worst after practices.  We are always very hungry and want nothing more than a shower and some food.  Instead we are brought to a changeroom to hang out and drink lots of water.  Tonight our foursome was very quick, we all had to pee (there have been times we have to wait on one person for hours) we were moving as fast as they could process us!  The drug testers are all really nice, two ladies and a man who got to hang out with us for the night, hopefully they are now blog followers!  For our participation tonight we got a few treats, a deck of cards and a letter opener!  We know all of our teammates are jealous of our prizes.  

Our sports psych Roger flew in tonight to meet with us.  We discussed energy and tweaked our warm up.  A very successful evening.
