Road to London

It was a long day of waiting for our game!  We did not go to our shoot around this morning as it was not in the competition gym and we know Brazil pretty well.  Some of the girls took a short walk to buy some sandals and coffee and get out of the hotel.  Others were on bed rest and enjoyed another morning of watching Celebrity Apprentice and Project Runway.  Since we have arrived at the hotel those two shows have been on every morning so our team has been hooked. 

We are excited for the game tonight, it will be a great environment!  Brazil has amazing fans and as an athlete there is nothing better than playing in front of a packed house (I guess it would be better if they were all cheering for us)!  

This game is all about preparation, the outcome doesn't really matter.  We are in the semi's so we are using tonight to keep sharp.  Offensively we want to keep better spacing and movement and defensively keep up the intensity we have playing with.  We are also going to try and limit our turnovers... they have been a little high! 

We are off to the gym... GO CANADA!!
