Dr Mark constructing our "wet towels". Joanie and Mark are amazing and work hard during the game trying to keep us cool with ice towels to wrap around our head, fanning us at timeouts and always topping off our water bottles! You guys are the best!
In the lobby waiting for the bus. The final score was 67-56. It was another impressive defensive output, we held them to 2 first quarter points! We don’t have stats but I am pretty sure we beat them on the boards, we had all five players rebounding down and despite giving up some weight at most of our positions we scrapped and came up with the ball. We ran our zone a little more tonight to see how Cuba would handle it, we created a few turnovers so it worked pretty well.
Offensively we were MUCH better tonight, our big girls played huge and demanded the ball down low where they went to work! On the outside the perimeters hit the open shots and got into the lane on penetration. A perfect blend of inside – out!
Practice tomorrow morning 1130-130.
